Celine Kusnadi joined the US-ASEAN Business Council as an Associate based in Jakarta in January 2022. She is responsible for the Council’s ASEAN Committee research and work program, which includes standards & conformance, digital trade initiatives, and the U.S.-ASEAN Internship Program. During her time with the Council, she coordinated multiple business missions to the ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting, and the Indonesian Government, maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Celine has worked for various NGOs based in Iowa, Washington, DC, and Jakarta within the fields of global conflict & transnational security, international economic development, and citizen diplomacy. Prior to joining the Council, she was a research consultant on forced labor, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies. Celine has also interned both at a UN agency and an association. She was actively involved in the USAID LinkSME Vietnam project and the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

A native Indonesian, Celine graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, with concentrations in International Business and Economic Relations, and a minor in Business Administration. She studied abroad for a semester at CIMBA Italy, where she focused on International Business. Celine is fluent in both English and Indonesian.
