Christine Wan
Manager
Christine Wan manages the Financial Services, Sustainability, and Energy portfolios at the US-ASEAN Business Council. She has prior experience in the public sector and also private sector experience in research and government affairs in Southeast Asia. Christine has a degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore, and was an alumnus of the Yale-Visiting International Student Program with Yale University. She is currently pursuing an online professional certificate with MIT in Sustainability.
Christine is a Manager at the US-ASEAN Business Council, with a focus on financial services, sustainability, and energy in Southeast Asia. She advocates for fair and transparent policies in these sectors, with the goal of establishing a strong partnership between U.S. private sector and member states in ASEAN.
Before joining the US-ASEAN Business Council, Christine worked in the Singapore government (EnterpriseSG), focusing on developing and scaling companies. Her experience gave her the opportunity to work with both senior government officials and the private sector, work in developing markets, and also provided insight into policy-making processes and implementation. She also has extensive research experience in public policy and geopolitics in Southeast Asia, new technologies, regional and international trade and has worked with boutique consulting firms and research organisations.
Christine graduated from the National University of Singapore with an honours degree in Political Science (First Class). She is also an alumni of the Yale Visiting International Students Program. Christine is currently pursuing an online professional certificate with MIT in Sustainability.
