Bella Afifa
Manager
Bella joined the US-ASEAN Business Council in Jakarta in 2022 as an Associate for SME Programs under the ASEAN Committee, progressing to Manager in 2024 with a portfolio that now includes Financial Services and Customs & Trade Facilitation. Over the years, she has supported and led key initiatives, including the ASEAN SME Academy revamp and regional SME workshops. She also has been facilitating member engagements at high-level forums like the ASEAN Economic Ministers’ and ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Governors Meetings in addition to sectoral/country business missions.
Prior to the Council, Bella gained experience in strategic communications consulting and IT company, engaging with diverse stakeholders—from senior government officials, NGOs, and the private sector—on deliverables that shaped her understanding of policy-making and project management.
She holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations with a focus on International Political Economy from Universitas Indonesia. Her expertise spans project management, advocacy, and stakeholder relations, with a particular interest in the digital economy and SME empowerment.
