Considering recent developments in Southeast Asia and the United States, including new administrations in Indonesia and Thailand, government restructuring in Vietnam, and the change in party control of Congress, the US-ASEAN Business Council looks to convene congressional staff and private sector stakeholders to discuss key concerns. This event will serve as a platform to explore the evolving landscape of U.S.-ASEAN relations and identify opportunities for collaboration to strengthen economic, diplomatic, and security partnerships across the region.

The Board of Directors, members, and staff of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) extend their deepest condolences to the people of Myanmar for the significant loss of life and property caused by the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Central Myanmar on March 28. The earthquake’s impact was also felt in other ASEAN countries, including Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.

Minh Duc joined the US-ASEAN Business Council in 2025, based in Hanoi. Before that, he had 12 years of experience as a public policy manager at the Legal Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). He represented the interests of the Vietnamese business community in the policy and law-making process. Duc holds a bachelor's degree in Law and a master's degree in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University, New York.
