2024 ASEAN Ambassadors' Tour Highlights American Businesses and the Geopolitical Landscape in Three Major U.S. Cities

From July 8-12, the Council led Ambassadors and Chargés d'affaires representing eight ASEAN nations on the annual ASEAN Ambassadors' Tour to Louisville, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This year’s tour centered around our valued company supporters—, Brown-Forman, GE Aerospace, P&G, TE Connectivity, and UPS. 

US-ASEAN Business Council Companies Present Insights and Best Practices to Support Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) Negotiations

(Bangkok, Thailand) On June 5, the US-ASEAN Business Council (the Council) co-organized a US-ASEAN Digital Economy Policy Retreat for the Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) with the Thailand Ministry of Commerce, Chair for the DEFA Negotiating Committee.

2024 Philippines Business Mission Reinforces US Private Sector Commitments in the Philippines

From May 20 to 23, the US-ASEAN Business Council brought together 30 leading US companies for its annual Philippines Business Mission. The mission focused on strengthening US-Philippines economic ties following the recently concluded Presidential Trade and Investment Mission and Trilateral Leaders’ Summit.
