Dear Members, The US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) is pleased to host a Welcome Reception scheduled for November 27 at the Langham Hotel Jakarta. The Welcome Reception is organized on the occasion of celebrating Amb. Brian McFeeters' appointment as the Council’s Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director. This Welcome Reception will be held in conjunction with US-ABC Indonesia’s 2024 Election Update Briefing in collaboration with the Centre for Strategic International Studies of Indonesia (CSIS Indonesia) and Asia Group Advisors (AGA). The briefing will feature Mr. Arya Fernandes, Head of the Department of Politics and Social Changes at CSIS Indonesia, and Mr. Adam Schwarz, the Founder and CEO of the Asia Group Advisors, to provide insights into Indonesia’s political outlook. During the briefing, our prominent speakers will share their perspectives on the current political landscape of Indonesia leading up to the 2024 General Elections as well as analysis of the political-economic outlook of each President and Vice President candidate and its relation to the business environment. Briefing on IPEF from Embassy of Australia following the IPEF Ministerial in Los Angeles last September 8-9 

From August 9-11, the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) held its 2023 Philippines Business Mission in Metro Manila, where a total of 30 companies participated in a series of in-person dialogues with top officials from the Government of the Philippines. This was the largest delegation to visit the Philippines in US-ABC history. The mission was co-led by Ambassador Ted Osius (ret.), President and CEO of US-ABC and Mr. Stephen Braim, Vice President for Government & Regulatory Affairs, Asia Pacific at IBM and Co-Chair of US-ABC's Philippines Committee.
