Cath Salazar
Associate
Catherine Salazar is currently based at the Council’s Manila Office as an Associate, supporting the country’s portfolio. Cath holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She started as a Business and Policy Intern with the Council in August 2022.
Catherine Salazar joined the US-ASEAN Business Council as an Associate based in Manila in July 2023. She coordinates and supports the Council's Philippine staff and handles initiatives and advocacy work under the country's portfolio. She started as an intern with the Council in August 2022.
Before joining the Council, Cath honed her research skills through work in numerous NGOs, research think tanks, and research projects across various industries and sectors. Her research experience extends to areas such as digital transformation, educational technology, energy policy, venture capital, infrastructure development, and educational technology, allowing her to bring a diverse and comprehensive perspective to her current role.
Cath graduated as the Batch Valedictorian from the University of Asia and the Pacific in August 2023 with a Master's degree in Industrial Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, solidifying her foundation in economics and business studies.
