President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Batasang Pambansa Complex on July 22, 2024, two years into his six-year term. The President’s address lasted for an hour and twenty minutes, in front of members of the Senate and House of Representatives, members of the Supreme Court, Cabinet members, the diplomatic corps, and other guests. He highlighted significant achievements and ongoing initiatives of his administration, addressing critical issues and outlining his vision for the coming years. The President emphasized the administration’s commitment to economic resilience, social development, and sustainable growth. Below is a summary and brief analysis of the 2024 SONA.
