Sarah Lessing
Director
Sarah currently serves as a Director in the Council's Singapore office where she has been based since 2019, overseeing the Membership, Board Operations, and Singapore portfolios. In her operational capacity, she also supports the Council’s communications and public relations activities including development of the Council’s flagship ASEAN Matters for America publication.
A California native, Sarah graduated from George Washington University in 2018 with degree in International Business and International Affairs before joining the Council’s Singapore office in May of 2019 as an associate. During her time at the Council, Sarah has also supported the Health & Life Sciences Committee and the Council’s COVID-19 Task Force, including a vaccine distribution exercise in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation.
Prior to working at the Council, Sarah participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore before permanently relocating to Singapore in 2018, where she hopes to remain for many years to come.
