Vice President, Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier
Sapna Chadha is Vice President at Google, responsible for business growth, sales, strategy, and operations across more than 10 markets in Southeast and South Asia and is based in Singapore. She brings with her over 25 years of global management, business, and marketing experience in both US-based and Asia-based roles. A leader with a passion to drive transformation through an equitable and responsible digital economy in one of the most diverse, dynamic and fast-growing parts of the world. She directly leads a team of 300+ individuals across 6+ sites.

Since joining Google in 2014, Sapna has held leadership positions across geographies, promoting Google's mission of introducing the most helpful products and services for advertisers and users in the Asia Pacific region. Before her current appointment, she was the Vice President of Marketing for both Southeast Asia and India, driving Google's marketing strategy across both the consumer and commercial businesses. Within her capacity, she was responsible for delivering business outcomes and user growth through integrated product marketing, performance marketing and data insights, with a focus on driving GenZ growth as well as transforming Google’s products for the next billion internet users in partnership with Product and Engineering. Her work spanned across all of Google’s Product Areas including Google Search, Android, Google Play, YouTube, Google Pay, and our Ads products. She was also responsible for building Google's brand in emerging markets in Asia.     

From championing DEI efforts, to empowering businesses and local communities in their digitalization journeys, her teams are working hard to bring helpful technology and tools to people across the region and equip them with the skills to use the internet safely and effectively.   

Prior to Google, Sapna worked in consulting at Deloitte and has held senior management roles, including at American Express in the US and India, where she led various function areas spanning Product Development and Management, Operations, Digital Marketing, and Go-To-Market Strategy. At Deloitte Consulting, she was responsible for managing end-to-end system integration, process redesign, and digital transformation of financial services and retail clients across the United States. At American Express, she managed the P&L for the Charge Card businesses in the US and India and developed and launched products including the bespoke Platinum and Centurion products. She also served as Chief of Staff and Director of Business Planning for the President of American Express International Consumer Card Services working across 15+ markets.  

Her professional journey has been centered on the convergence of technology and business to drive positive change and deliver the benefit of inclusive innovation to more companies, people, and communities. In this capacity, she has served on boards for not for profit and for industry associations over the last decade.
