Senior Country Analyst
Le Nguyen is Country Research Analyst and Manager for Vietnam at Washington D.C. office. Her role involves providing intelligence and advocacy supports to U.S. private sector, with a focus on enhancing trade and investment relationships between the United States and ASEAN, particularly Vietnam.

Prior to the Council, Le worked in Tokyo for 13 years in management consulting and corporate finance for reputable Japanese companies, fostering business ties between Japan and ASEAN across various industries.

Le Nguyen is Country Research Analyst and Manager for Vietnam at the Council’s Washington D.C. office since July 2022. She is responsible for providing intelligence and advocacy support to the U.S. private sector, with a specific focus on strengthening trade and investment relationships between the United States and ASEAN, particularly Vietnam. 

In her role, Le leads programs such as roundtables, briefings, business forums that align with the member companies' objectives and foster knowledge transfer while building and maintaining robust relationships and coalitions with various stakeholders, including governments, multilateral organizations, trade associations, and key partners, especially concerning the Vietnamese market and its ties within ASEAN. 

Prior to joining the Council, Le accumulated extensive experience in management consulting and corporate finance while working in Tokyo for esteemed Japanese firms, namely NTT Finance Corporation and IGPI. Over the course of 13 years in Japan, she contributed to projects spanning diverse industries, including public transportation, education, IT, logistics, and banking and finance. Throughout these projects, Le collaborated closely with key stakeholders, including Japanese and Vietnamese governments, to stimulate investments and enhance business connections between Japan and ASEAN. 

Le holds a Master's degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's degree in Management and Law from Aomori Chuogakuin University, Japan. She is trilingual, proficient in Vietnamese, English, and Japanese.
