J.B. Simko is the head of PMI’s office in Washington, D.C., and serves as Vice President External Affairs. Before being appointed to his current position, J.B. served as Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Litigation, managing litigation of company-wide significance on behalf of PMI entities globally (joining Litigation in 2008 and named Vice President of the group in 2013). In this role, J.B. also became deeply involved in developing regulatory strategies related to FDA authorization of new and modified risk tobacco products.
