Prior to joining SCJ, Greg served as the Assistant US Trade Representative for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement. A key member of the White House’s trade policy leadership team, Greg was responsible for engaging stakeholders and building coalitions supporting US trade policy. During his tenure, Greg helped to open bilateral trade negotiations with Kenya and bring the USMCA negotiations to a close. Additionally, Greg pursued policies that increased US trade enforcement capabilities while growing support for freer and fairer trade.
Greg previously served as lead for trade and global government supply chain advocacy for the 3M company, Regional Manager for the US Trade and Development Agency in South and Southeast Asia from the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, and a high-ranking trade and White House official for the George W. Bush Administration.
From both private and public sector positions, Greg has promoted open and transparent global markets. He has provided thought leadership and policy development that supports strong rules of trade in services, intellectual property, and goods. He has personally contributed to the negotiation of almost two dozen bilateral and regional free trade agreements.
Greg received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Greg is licensed to practice law in New York; Washington, DC; Florida; Maryland; the U.S. Court of International Trade, and a U.S. Customs Broker from the Port of Miami.
