Emma Tabatabai serves as a key staff member at the US-ASEAN Business Council, specializing in the Malaysia, Brunei and ICT portfolio and currently she serves as Senior Country Representative based in  the Kuala Lumpur office. 

Emma brings with her extensive government relations and public affairs experience to the Council’s work. Previously, she served as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of an oil and gas company, coordinating the company’s government relations and public affairs. She has also been a Journalist for an independent television station, a Designer in an international architecture firm and a customer relations agent with a major airline.

Currently, Emma enhances the Council’s visibility and presence by managing and promoting Council events and programs organized in Malaysia and Brunei. She is responsible for engaging the Malaysia and Brunei government working on policies and advocating for the Council members.
