Max Knight serves as the Special Assistant to the President & CEO at the US-ASEAN Business Council. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and a Master of International Affairs in economic and political development from Columbia University.
Max’s experience has centered on international trade and investment flows. As part of a graduate consulting group, he supported the Rwandan government in its efforts to stimulate foreign investment in the country. He has also interned with the Brookings Institution, where he compiled and analyzed international sanctions data.
Before moving to the United States, Max lived in Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia. He has also supported the Council’s offices in both Washington, DC and Bangkok. At Columbia University, he worked as a research assistant in the study of Southeast Asian politics, in addition to working as a production assistant for the university’s academic and promotional materials.
