On July 24, USABC convened a workshop on sustainable pesticide registration, featuring esteemed speakers including Prof. Supawan Tantayanon from Chulalongkorn University, Tudsanee Srisopha and Utchalee Namvong from the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Nongnuch Yokyongsakul from the Thai Agricultural Innovation Trade Association (TAITA), and Prelia Moenandar, USABC Vice Chair of the Food and Agriculture Committee at Corteva Agriscience. The event was inaugurated by Praab Pianskool, Chief Representative of Thailand, and also attended by U.S. Agriculture Counselor Kelly Stange. The Council Director of Strategic Initiatives, Food and Agriculture, Angga Antagia expressed USABC’s commitment to continue the collaboration with the DOA, emphasizing the organization’s eagerness to provide detailed input for regulatory formulation on sustainable pesticide regustration and support sustainable agricultural practices in the Thailand.
